Outgoing Lincoln United chairman Malcolm Cowling is in no doubt that the Whites’ new management team has everything it takes to move the club forward.

Cowling, chairman-elect Ian Beaumont and Director of Football Allen Crombie have met with manager Sam Wilkinson, assistant manager Chris Hall and First Team coach Stuart Reddington to finalise plans for the coming season.

The outgoing chairman said:”Ian, Allen and I are already confident that the appointment of Sam and Chris had given us a good pairing but the addition of ‘Reddo’ provides another dimension.

“This is a ‘first’ for all of them but they are strong, experienced characters who are passionate about the Whites and want the team to succeed.”

United’s pre-season build-up has been boosted on the field as most of last season’s squad are committed for another tilt at promotion.
