It was confirmed at a meeting this week that next season there will be 22 Under 18 teams in the local league which means Nettleham will have a new side in that age group ready for the new campaign.
The move is all part of a three year plan to revolutionize football in Nettleham under the direction and leadership of Scott Russell.
He said: “It promises to be a very competitive league which is exactly what we were looking for.
“That’s why we didn’t apply to be in the U19 or U21 league.”
Russell added: “The Nettleham Football Revolution continues on West Common on Saturday 25th June when we stage our open training session.
“The idea is to showcase to players what we can offer as a club and give an insight into how the new coaching team will work to develop players throughout the season.”
