The Velo Cycling Club runs a series of courses which enable children to ride their bikes safely and with confidence.
Children aged between four and seven years work towards their bronze, silver and gold awards in skills like riding a bike safely at the Lincoln Velo Cycling Club.
The intermediate age group focuses on team racing at the purpose built one mile track behind the Yarborough Leisure Centre.
Parent Andy Kent told SportsLinc: ” My eight-year-old son Matthew has been riding for two years . Cycling gives him focus and fitness.
“My daughter Sofia who is seven started cycling this year and she is building up her confidence.”
