PREMIER LEAGUE NOT A PATCH ON POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL

I had a humbling experience yesterday when I went along to chat with three disabled young men from the Lincolnshire Powerchair football team.

They showed me that despite being wheelchair-bound each of them could take part in a sport which allows them to exhibit their skills and sporting prowess.

Alex, Mike and Nick train twice a week at the Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School sports hall and are looking for more players to join them.

If you ever become tired of the antics displayed by the excessively rich and spoiled prima donnas of the Premier League then pop down to the Lincoln Christ’s Hospital sports hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6.00pm and see real footballers in action.
