Here is what Whites’ Manager, big Sam Wilkinson, thought about his team’s 3-0 defeat at Bedworth United in the Evo-Stik South League on Saturday.

Whites’ boss Wilkinson said: “It’s pretty obvious the difference at the minute is in both boxes.

The key thing in football is to score and not concede and that’s where we are going wrong.

We changed the formation at Bedworth to try and put them on the back foot and cause them problems.

That did work but we missed chances and allowed them to score first.

It was another disappointing way to concede by giving away passes and then getting caught on the counter.

We actually had a warning just before they scored but still weren’t alive to it.

I thought we played well in the first half and controlled the game like we were the home side but it turned out to be the same story as last week (in the 1-0 defeat to Market Drayton Town).

We didn’t put our chances away.

We missed a great chance just before they broke away and scored following a bad, individual error which killed the game really.

We still had a real go and should have got back into the game but we missed chances again and again.

The Bedworth players came off the pitch at the end not knowing how they had won.

We aim to put things right on Saturday.”
