HOLY BLUES CAN PUT CUP DEFEAT BEHIND THEM

Gainsborough Trinity can restore some lost pride at Brackley tomorrow when they return to league action following the 6-0 drubbing they suffered at the hands of Slough Town in last week’s FA Cup fixture.

The Holy Blues were unbeaten in seven matches before last week’s reverse and boss Dave Frecklington will be striving to ensure his team bring back three points to Gainsborough.

Central defender Michael Jacklin was voted National League North Player of the Month thanks to some outstanding displays.
