Are Lincoln City good enough to survive life in the Football League?

Ask any Imps´fans and they would resent any suggestion that their team will struggle next season.

You would find it hard not to disagree with them.

To get an idea of what Danny Cowley´s men will face in August, it is perhaps best to highlight the differences between the National League and League Two.

It would prove challenging for a part time club to make the leap but Lincoln City make the step as an established professional club.

As a result no changes are required in terms of structure and business.

On the field, the sports scientists at Sincil Bank will ensure their charges are fitter than the other players in the League.

For evidence of stamina and speed look no further than the players who managed  60 plus games on the way to the title.

The biggest strength for the Imps is that there is no change at the top.

This means Danny and Nicky Cowley can continue their careers, safe in the knowledge that their ambitions and plans can continue unabated.

These two are leaders in every sense of the word.

They motivate players to reach new heights, have in-depth knowledge of the beautiful game and , most important, they love their jobs.

No doubt they have already told Sam, Luke, Alex and the rest that next season will be tough but success will be achieved.
