A 1-1 draw at Sheffield was enough to enable the lads from Lincolnshire to clinch the Youth Division Two Championship on Wednesday evening.

Sheffield went ahead against the run of play after 25 minutes when a defensive mix-up in the Lincolnshire defence  allowed their striker to put the home team one up.

The visitors pulled a goal back when skipper Oli Donald smashed a penalty beyond the Sheffield keeper’s grasp and clinch the title for his side.

Lincolnshire continued to dominate possession to see out the match against a very direct Sheffield outfit.

Congratulations from Sportslinc to everyone involved in this tremendous achievement.
