Local rider Hannah Cruise was yesterday reminded of the ups and downs of eventing at the Chatsworth House Horse Trials.
Following a splendid score of 31 in the dressage and a clear round in the show jumping, Hannah went into the cross country second overall.
However 20 penalties at the fourth fence dashed any hopes of a top three position.
