Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley has already started planning for next season only days after his team clinched the National League title.
He and brother Nicky are focusing on players’ contracts, analysing the likely opposition in League Two and preparing training plans for the new campaign.
He said: “We expect the players to maintain their fitness during the break.
“We want them to be match-smart and so we will be concentrating on technique and tactics rather than building up the fitness they should already have.
“We are all hungry for success and believe that what’s to come is very exciting.
“We are united as a club and are looking to move forward.”
The Imps play their final game of what has been a highly successful campaign at relegated Southport on Saturday, kick-off 12.15 pm striving to break to 100 points barrier.
They travel tomorrow stopping off at Everton for a training session.
