Danny Cowley has said on numerous occasions that the Sincil Bank crowd act as the team’s twelfth man.
Once again they will be called into action tomorrow afternoon against Torquay as the Imps continue to take giant steps towards the National League title.
After 50 plus games you can expect the players to be a little leg weary but the motivation provided by the chants and singing of the Lincoln faithful always adds a spring to their step.
Ironically visiting teams can also raise their game in front of a full stadium because it is something they are not used to but have always dreamed of.
Torquay will provide yet another tough test for Danny’s men although I am sure they will be up for the task.
A strong defensive unit, backed by a dynamic midfield and threatening forward line will prove too strong for the visitors.
The Imps will add three more points to cement their top spot position.
