SUBS SINK LOUGHBOROUGH

Lincoln United took a massive step towards securing a play-off spot after their 3-0 hammering of rock-bottom Loughborough Dynamo at the Sun Hat Villas stadium last night.

Sean Cann hit a brace after the break with fellow substitute Josh Barr-Rostron making it three near the end.

The result means the Whites sit seventh in the table only one point below the play-off positions.

Sam Wilkinson’s men have five games left to cement a top five place.

This Saturday they entertain promotion-chasing rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels who trail the Ashby Avenue outfit by one point.
