
The streets and pavements of uphill Lincoln overflowed with runners and spectators as the 21st running of one of the county’s biggest sports events took place yesterday in the warm Spring sunshine.
The Lincoln 10K attracted 5,500 runners from all parts of the country who pounded the city’s historic roads on of the flattest courses on the race circuit.
Thousands of pounds was raised for various charities in a race which saw a winning time of just over 30 minutes.
