ONE GOAL ENOUGH TO KEEP IMPS ON TOP

Lincoln City overcame a stubborn Bromley outfit 1-0 this afternoon to maintain their number one spot in the National League.

Rivals Tranmere remain level on points after their 1-0 win at Wrexham in today’s lunchtime kick off.

The Imps made hard work of victory especially after Alan Power’s penalty was saved by the Bromley keeper.

However substitute Billy Knott struck the winner with his first touch of the ball.

Now that’s what I call a good substitution.

Danny Cowley’s men have only one full day to recover before they host Dagenham and Redbridge in Monday night’s televised game.
