DISAPPOINTING BUT NOT DISASTROUS

Lincoln City’s 2-0 defeat at Boreham Wood should be classed as a minor blip rather than a huge loss.

Forest Green Rovers and Tranmere Rovers were the only real beneficiaries of the Imps’ result.

The former took over top spot after overcoming Solihul Moors with a 90th minute winner whilst Tranmere Rovers hammered lowly North Ferriby 4-1.

Other promotion rivals Dagenham and Redbridge lost and Gateshead were held to a draw.

Danny Cowley’s men have time to re-group before Saturday’s huge clash with Forest Green Rovers at Sincil Bank.

The Imps may trail Saturday’s visitors by three points but they do still have three games in hand over their closest rivals.

What’s more the men in red and white have only lost two home games all season.

It is a time for looking forward and staying positive.

Let Danny and Nicky do the analysis of the last game.

Keep the faith because there is certainly no need to panic.
