LINDUM HOCKEY: LADIES’ MATCH REPORTS

The Ladies First team slipped into the bottom four of EWL Division One North following a 3-1 defeat to Norwich Dragons 2nds.

They will be striving to finish on a high before they face a play-off to enter NHWL Division 2 South-East.

The Ladies Seconds drew 0-0 with Tadcaster Magnets in a mid-table clash in YHA Division 1.

The Ladies Thirds continued their promotion push defeating lowly Epworth 3-1 away from home.

They now sit level on points with Hull Hawks with three games remaining and face league leaders Sheffield Hallam 3rds next week.

Hull and Hallam also play each other in the final game of the season ensuring a tight finish to YHA Division 4 South.

The Ladies Fourths defeated Hull Circle 4-0 and have now secured safety in YHA Division 5 East.

The Ladies Fifths were awarded a 3-0 victory after Burton Pidsea were unable to raise a side.

This means that a point against bottom side Epworth 2nds in two weeks’ time guarantees promotion from the YHA Division 6 East.
