The Imps sit top of the National League 10 points ahead of today’s opponents with three games in hand over them.
Aldershot have won 11 home games so far this season which equals that of the Sincil Bank outfit.
Imps’ boss Danny Cowley said: “Aldershot have a clear identity.
“They play an attractive style and pass through each third of the field.
“They look comfortable in possession.
“It will be a very different game to the ones against North Ferriby and York.”
This could well work to Lincoln City’s advantage as they may find the space and time to play they type of high-energy, attacking football we have seen this season.
Jonny Margetts is likely to make some sort of appearance which will add extra firepower to the Imps’ attack.
Expect end-to-end play with goals in abundance.
