
The Lincolnshire Squash team went down 4-1 against a very strong Northumbria outfit in the Inter-County Leagues tournament yesterday.
Harry Falconer opened with a 3-2 win playing some high-quality squash after coming back from 2-0 down.
Chris Martin lost 11-9, 11-9, 12-10 in a tight encounter in which he couldn’t quite keep up the intensity at the back end of games against a very strong opponent.
Nick Roberts fought hard to match the high-tempo of his opponent in a 3-0 defeat.
Danny Wells struggled to find his game at first but dug in during his 3-0 loss.
Finally Ryan Bond was beaten by a very high-quality junior.
The Lincolnshire outfit came second in their group after Merseyside withdrew.
