WHITES EXTEND UNBEATEN RUN

Lincoln United made it five matches unbeaten as they held sixth-placed Basford to a goalless draw at the Sun Hat Villas tonight.

In a wind-affected game neither side created many goal-scoring opportunities.

The first half saw Sam Wilkinson’s men take the match to the visitors but a resilient Basford defence held the Whites’ attack at bay.

After the break the visitors played a more expansive game which put the home side under pressure but Michael Jacklin and company were able to deal with anything Basford threw at them.

The point gained puts the Ashby Avenue outfit one step closer to a top ten position.

ALWAYS LOOK ON THE WHITE SIDE OF LIFE
