Around this time of the season many footballers complain of tiredness or niggling injuries.
However, torn hamstrings, groin strains and pulled calf muscles are a thing of the past at Sincil Bank thanks to Danny and Nicky’s knowledge of sports science and the anatomy and physiology associated with it.
Of course Lee Beevers was very unfortunate to suffer a bad injury earlier in the season and obviously we wish him a speedy recovery.
Sam Habergham missed the Barrow and Welling games because of a knock and Alan Power was injured in the first match of the season.
Generally though the injury list has not caused too many problems and now everyone (apart from Lee) is fighting fit.
Result? The battle for first team places has intensified, the squad is at full strength and the run-in towards the end of the season looks manageable.
