Two more wins from their two remaining home games will ensure a place in the play-offs in the Evo-Stik Division One (South) League for Lincoln United.
After a magnificent 2-1 win at Romulus on Saturday the Ashby Avenue outfit sit fifth in the table with only Chasetown FC a threat to their top five position.
Tomorrow evening Dave Frecklington’s men take on Rugby Town at the Sun Hat Villas stadium striving for a win that would keep them in the driving seat for a play-off place.
Boss Frecklington told SportsLinc:”It was a really tough game on Saturday. A very nervy affair.
“But we rode our luck and came back with a massive three points.
“We are hoping for a big crowd tomorrow night to cheer the lads on.
“It’s the first time we have reached 70 points in 12 years so it’s a massive achievement. Last season we managed 65 points so we have made real progress.
“We need to make sure we win tomorrow.”
