In theory a League One outfit like Oldham Athletic should have more technically adept players than Lincoln City.
In practice this is probably true in a handful of cases.
However the outstanding difference in the Imps’ 3-2 win over the Latics was that the desire and passion displayed by Danny Cowley’s men far outweighed that of the side from the north west.
Eleven men make up a side and teamwork makes a side tick. That is not rocket science. It is common knowledge.
Danny and Nicky have instilled a belief in their players that winning is hard-fought but all important.
Their charges have certainly got the message.
