BACK TO LEAGUE BUSINESS FOR WHITES

Lincoln United have excelled in cup competitions this season.

A fourth round qualifying adventure in the FA Cup came to an end against higher-league Spennymoor Town.

Wins over Gainsborough Trinity, Lincoln City and AFC Stamford secured the Lincolnshire FA Senior Cup for big Sam Wilkinson’s team.

On Saturday the Ashby Avenue outfit made a brave exit from the FA Trophy third qualifying round at the hands of National League North side Kidderminster Harriers.

So much for cup glory.

Back to league action on Saturdays and Tuesday for the next two months starting at Bedworth United this weekend.

The Whites sit 19th in the table but because of their cup successes have eight games in hand on some of the teams above them.

By the way, they play their second round tie of the Integro League Cup against Grantham Town in January!

ALWAYS LOOK ON THE WHITE SIDE OF LIFE
