Every Saturday morning at nine o’clock around 350 people set off on a three mile route around Boultham Park aiming to either set a personal best time, jog with friends or walk the course with their dog.

Last Saturday saw the 119th staging of the Lincoln event and even the pouring rain did nothing to deter the hardy folk of the city from turning out.
Special milestones are heralded around the bandstand prior to the start. Samantha Nott joined the 100 club by completing a century of runs. Birthdays are announced, visitors and newcomers are welcomed and volunteers are thanked.
