Lincoln City dragged themselves back from being 2-0 down to win 3-2 at table-topping Forest Green Rovers this lunchtime.
Two goals in the last 10 minutes from Waterfall and Raggett completed a magnificent comeback for Danny Cowley’s men.
Victory keeps City in second place just six points behind today’s opponents but with a game in hand.
Forest Green took the lead on 25 minutes after striker Doidge headed home in an ocean of space.
In the 65th minute the home side doubled their lead when Marsh-Brown rifled a twenty yarder beyond the reach of Farman.
The visitors then rolled up their sleeves and went into battle.
Alex Woodyard stroked home his first league goal of the campaign before his team mates from central defence secured all three points for Lincoln.
It was a magnificent, fighting performance.
This team never give up.
Their never say die attitude was written about on SportsLinc earlier this week.
Once again they produced a performance to be proud of in the most important game of the season so far.
