Lincoln United were involved in a pulsating 3-3 draw at AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday in the FA Trophy.
Here’s what Whites’ boss Big Sam Wilkinson thought of the game.
He said: “It was a great game of football with two teams going toe to toe to try and outscore each other.
“We played really well. The work rate was fantastic and every man worked his socks off.
“We played some great football on a very good pitch and made the right decisions most of the time.
“There were some outstanding individual performances but it was a great overall team performance.
“We conceded two very poor goals from set pieces. We had warned the players about their threats from set pieces and we didn’t deal with them well enough.
“We would have taken a draw before the game to bring them back to our ground tomorrow night.
“It’s still going to be a very tough match but we think that if we can maintain that work rate and desire to win first and second balls we feel we have got a good chance to progress to the next round.”
