American football comes to town this Sunday afternoon when the Lincolnshire Bombers host the Staffordshire Surge at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School starting at 2.30pm.
It is the opening fixture of the season between two sides who haven’t met for six years.
The Bombers had a mixed campaign last year winning four and losing six games.
The club was founded in 2005 and now boast three teams at Under 16, U19 and senior level with all teams being open to males and females.
Barry Howorth, Marketing Manager of the Bombers said:”It doesn’t matter how good a player you are, how much of an athlete you are so long as you give it everything you can then you will get to play on this team.
“We are here to give anyone who wants the chance to play American football.”
