After two straight defeats Lincoln United need to return to winning ways.

A home match against Northwich Victoria tomorrow could put the Whites back on the winning trail.

SportsLinc caught up with Whites’ boss Big Sam Wilkinson earlier.

He said: “It’s going to be a tough game but one we must look to get three points from.

“They are two points ahead of us but we’ve got five games to catch up.

“The FA Cup is over now and maybe Tuesday was a bit of a hangover from that.

“Tomorrow there will be no hangover.

“If we want to challenge at the top of the League, which we do, we really must take the three points.

“We’ve got a couple of injury problems. Sean Wright will miss the game and it looks like Kallum Ward will not be fit.

“He is having an X ray today on his foot. Fingers crossed there’s nothing broken .

“However we feel we’ve got the squad to deal with it.

“We must do better than Tuesday and stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get on with the job in hand.”
