England C international midfielder Elliott Whitehouse has today joined the Imps on a permanent deal from Nuneaton Town until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Whitehouse has been at Nuneaton for a year following a brief stint at FC Halifax.

He has joined for an undisclosed fee.

Boss Danny Cowley said: “The signing of Elliott is fantastic for the club.

“He is exactly the profile of player that we are looking to bring to the club.

“He is young, talented and has a burning ambition to improve.

“Elliott will bring an energy, contribution play and goals to the group.”

Whitehouse will wear the vacant number four squad shirt.
