Nettleham Under 18s are about to undergo a change of personnel following their 4-1 defeat to Fulbeck at the weekend.

Only 11 players were available for the game two of whom were carrying injuries.

Manager Scott Russell said: “It was a poor performance from the start.

“We had a second sending-off in successive weeks which is unacceptable.

“Goal scorer Matt Needes cut the deficit to 2-1 but then early in the second half was sent off for remonstrating to much with the referee over a questionable free kick.

“We finished the game with nine men when Tom Buchanan went off injured.

“We deserved nothing from the game and sadly it’s another loss.

“I have no choice but to change tactics and personnel as I don’t feel I am getting the hard work required from certain players.

“I need hungry and driven players in this team.”
