In what turned out to be a very hard-fought match the Lincoln Ladies rugby team battled hard in their 15-0 defeat to higher division Lutterworth in the First Round of the RFU Cup.
The Lincoln outfit put up a strong performance throughout the 80 minutes.
This Sunday the Ladies return to League action at Mellish kick off 3 pm.
