After six months out with a bad back I decided it was time to don my trainers and start pounding the pavements again.
I’ve also decided to lose some weight so as from yesterday none of these: cheese, chocolate, sugar, milk, potatoes and bread…….cut down drastically on beer too.
Went out for my first training session since April this morning. Ten minutes slow, 4×1 min brisk with 2 min recoveries then 10 mins slow.
Didn’t realise how unfit I was.
Still I am on the right track and feel better mentally already.
