LINCOLN CITY: EVERYTHING LOOKING ROSY IN THE GARDEN

The mood at Sincil Bank right now is one of great optimism.

Four successive wins have seen Danny Cowley’s men rocket up to third place in the National League and only one point behind joint-leaders Forest Green and Tranmere Rovers.

Matt Rhead’s two goals in the 2-1 win at Torquay on Saturday evening made him the league’s top-scorer on six.

Next week’s home match against Tranmere could be a key indicator on how far the Imps have progressed under the management of brothers Danny and Nicky Cowley and with Saturday’s visitors to Sincil Bank having lost 3-1 at Aldershot on Saturday, hopes are high to make it five wins in five.
