Cyclists will have the chance to enjoy a weekend-long cycling extravaganza next year when the Lincoln festival of Cycling brings a host of huge sporting events to the city.
The event takes place between 12th-14th May and is expected to attract cyclists from all over the country to compete in the Lincoln Criterium, Lincoln GP Sportive, Lincoln Uphill Dash and The Men’s and Women’s Lincoln Grand prix.
Organiser of the Grand Prix, Dan Ellmore said: “Lincoln is well-known for its cycling events and we’re really pleased to be working with ITP Events to make next year’s event even bigger and better than ever.
“I’m confident the 2017 event won’t disappoint. By working together we’re proud to be protecting the future of Britain’s oldest remaining classic one-day cycle race.”
The Lincoln Criterium will take place on 12th May, the Lincoln GP Sportive on 13th May (morning), the Uphill Dash on May 13th (evening) and on May 14th, the Lincoln Grand Prix will be staged.
