Whites boss Dave Frecklington believes the Easter weekend fixtures against Sheffield on Saturday and Spalding on Easter Monday are of massive importance to his team.

He said: “We are aiming for maximum points but we will take four. We just want a really good weekend.

“With Lincoln City not playing we are hoping for a good crowd down at Ashby Avenue to cheer the lads on.”

Last time out the Whites went down 4-3 at Market Drayton Town although the result did not affect their fifth-place position in the table.

Frecklington said: ” We were disappointed with the result but not with the performance. At 3-3 we hit the bar then they went down the other end of the pitch and scored in the last minute.

“Things like that even themselves out over the season.”

The Whites will be without top-scorer Jack McGovern who hopes to return from injury next week and Chris Hall.

Defender Jake Gibson should soon be fit to return.
