CRICKET: CHERRY LOOKING GOOD FOR TITLE

Cherry Willingham 1st X1 bagged another win at the weekend and increased their lead at the top of the Lincolnshire County Premier Division.

They now head second-place Alford and District CC by 29 points following their 84 run win over Outcasts in which Will Carter and Graham Priestly each picked up five wickets.

Scothern could only muster a measly 48 against Alford and unsurprisingly lost by six wickets.

Bracebridge Heath 2nd X1 secured third spot in the table after their two-wicket victory over Holton-le Clay.

As previously reported, Hartsholme 2nd X1 produced the performance of the season so far after their nine-wicket win over Barton CC.
