Last week’s inaugural Giant Doddington Bike Ride attracted an entry of just over 300 people who rode the 33, 50 and 100 mile courses through the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.
Next year’s event will take place on August 13th with the same distances but this time the number of riders has been extended to 500.
Entries go live from 1st September 2016.
Organiser Dan Ellmore said: “This is another huge event supported by North Kesteven District Council, Giant Lincoln and Doddington Hall.
” The venue can cope with the additional number of riders.
” It shows the popularity of cycling, especially after the Olympics and establishes Lincoln as one of the leading cities in the UK for staging events of this size.”
