Remember me telling you about 31-year-old Amy Wright who suffers from MS but still competes in dressage events?
Well I have some great news.
Amy won two competitions on Saturday at Caythorpe on her horse Jasmine and is now looking forward to more success at the Epworth Horse Trials this weekend.
Amy’s mum, Wendy also competed and came a very creditable fourth.
If you remember last time out Wendy had a few issues with her horse Cruise whose misdemeanours cost two penalty points following Wendy’s strong verbal instructions to him!
Wendy said: “I am really pleased with my performance and super proud of Amy and Jasmine.
“Massive thanks must go to our instructor Emma Elliott who is the driving force behind our success.
“In fact we couldn’t have achieved so much success without Emma.”
You can hear the inspiring story of Amy on Tuesday’s Mix and Match at 7pm on Siren 107.3 FM and sirenonline.co.uk
