Lincoln United have always believed in developing youngsters and preparing them for the senior squad.
Boss Sam Wilkinson has carried on that tradition by signing several local young players who have the potential to make it the the first team.
They include keeper Kane Hutchinson-Wilkes who at 17 years of age is the youngest of the bunch. Kane looks very calm and assured and has already been involved with the senior squad.
Midfielder Josh Parker who at 18 looks a real prospect in midfield along with eighteen-year-old Ben Sharpe is keen to make it through the ranks at the Sun Hat Villas.
James Blunden is a talented central defender who at the tender age of 18 produced a very mature performance at the heart of defence in the 2-0 win over Lincoln City.
Jack Wilkinson is also 18 and has been excellent in pre-season showing confidence beyond his years as well as scoring goals.
Finally the oldest of the group at 22 is Harry Millard an attacking midfielder temporarily out of action through injury.
Lincoln United are already building for the future and are proving to be a very attractive proposition for any talented youngster in the Lincoln area and beyond.
