Lincoln City assistant manager Nicky Cowley has praised the efforts of his players for buying into the systems that he and his brother Danny are introducing to Sincil Bank.
Nicky told Sportslinc: “All the players know exactly what is expected of them.
“Danny and I spend a lot of time making sure our players know what they are coming up against.
“We watch opposition matches. We debrief our own performance on the pitch. We look at how we could do better as a team.
“All the players have been involved in this process and full credit to the boys because they have really embraced what we are aiming to achieve which is success for Lincoln City.
“The players realise that if we are organised as a team there is more chance of being successful together as a group.”
Judging by the first two games where the Imps have scored nine goals and conceded only two the preparation and analysis of performances appears to be paying off!”
