DRESSAGE: MOTHER AND DAUGHTER TAKE TO SADDLE IN SEARCH OF FAMILY SUCCESS

Local rider Wendy Dunham and her daughter Amy Wright will once again be competing at the Elm’s Farm dressage competition on Sunday¬†aiming to build on their success of two weeks’ ago.

Amy, who suffers from MS, came fourth last time out on her horse Jasmine. However Wendy had to have words with her horse Cruise who was misbehaving somewhat.

Wendy said: “We didn’t make Rio this year but we did make it to Caythorpe.

“Hopefully Cruise will be better behaved than last time out. I was docked two penalty points for giving him verbal instructions which is not allowed in dressage.

“Amy is aiming to improve on her fourth place.”

SportsLinc will keep you up to date with their progress.

You can hear an interview with Amy this Saturday on Mix and Match at 3pm on Siren 107.3 FM
